EPR Saskatoon was established in 1991. Our clients are primarily owner/managed businesses operating in all sectors of the economy including manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, retail and service. Building on this base, we have attracted a mix of not-for-profit audit clients. We focus on being proactive and available to our clients. We want to know our clients and are committed to being a key player in their ongoing strategic planning process. Our Staff:
We believe that your accounting firm should be able to consistently provide advice and assistance at a high level. As result, our staff accountants and managers are all designated CGA’s or students in their final one or two years of the CGA program of professional studies.
Specialties:
While we complete the full range of financial statements, (audit, review and compilation), we believe that the strength and uniqueness of our practice is in our financial management and strategic financial consulting services. We will analyze and advise on financial information on a year round basis and provide ongoing tax planning advice for the business and the owners.
It is very important to ensure that the entity has access to good quality financial information on a continuous basis. As a result, rather than providing bookkeeping services to clients, we endeavour to provide training so that this can be provided in-house. Alternatively we make referrals to qualified local firms which provide professional bookkeeping services.
Corporate, not-for-profit and charitable tax returns are completed and we prepare personal tax returns for unincorporated businesses, the owners and managers of our business clients, those with rental properties and individuals with significant investment earnings. Our firm will help with the preparation and filing of GST and PST returns as well as annual filing such as T4, T5 and WCB returns.
We will assist with the budgeting process, analyze and compare actual results to those budgeted or forecasted. Financial information is needed for the decision making process and we will assist to analyze it to identify cash flow issues and develop solutions, prepare financial proposals for investors or lenders and monitor the financial health of the business on an ongoing basis.
